East Glos ProAm Doubles

Hi Everyone, 

There's certainly a lot kicking off in Gloucestershire to get the juices flowing for all sorts of squash nuts. A big thanks to Nathan Lake for organising his 'back to squash' tour at various clubs in the county with some of the worlds best players getting on court to show us all how its done. 

As you saw from the last article, we have Mark Bennett MBE coming in on the 5th September running a coach education day at East Glos alongside the new inflatable squash court being used as 2 exhibition matches of our county's up and coming stars on display. The event is open to drop ins and junior county training squads will run from 10:15am. Exhibition matches will kick off at 4pm.

We also have the ProAm doubles returning with a bang! 16 Professional players confirmed and ready to battle it out for the legacy that Tom Ford has put the work into creating 6 years of doubles prior to lockdown. Event entry is £40 per pair with only 16 amatuer spaces available. Everyone will get the opportunity to play a Pro pair first or second round and then run into a knockout tournament from then on as well as receiving an event T-shirt. Keep the weekend of the 18th and 19th September free to make sure you get a chance to play the pros and then for county bragging rights in doubles.
