    GSA AGM 2020

    Hi all,

Its that time of year again, normally we hold the AGM during mid August. However, during the current events, we have decided to push it back a few weeks to the end of August/early to mid September so we can gain a realistic view of where the current restrictions on squash are heading. This will allow us to make a better decision on the upcoming league and other issues arising. We will publish a time and date out over the next week with the agenda attached as well as the venue.

Following other county league structures, it is very unlikely we will start the season in September. It will most likely be a January start with the league split between January to Easter Hols and then end of Easter Hols to late June. However, we are looking at integrating & arranging trial playoff matches hopefully before January when the go ahead comes from England Squash.

On a final note, at the upcoming AGM, I will be resigning as Chairman of the Gloucestershire Squash Association and stepping into a new role. This leaves the position and many others identified open for someone new with fresh ideas and enthusiasm to continue the organisations future development. More details will be released with the agenda of roles descriptions of how the organisation is prepared and ready to support new and enthusiastic individuals. Please see the attached letter as a formal letter of resignation.
